VICE PRESIDENT

Christopher Esper is the Vice President of Stem Construction, where he brings to bear his extensive expertise as a Design-Builder and a registered Architect with over 10 years of professional experience. Concurrently, he serves as the Principal at Root Architects. A proud native of El Paso, Christopher earned his Bachelor's of Science in Architecture from Texas Tech University, followed by a Master of Architecture degree from the prestigious Harvard University.

Christopher has a proven track record, having started his career in New York with ODA Architecture. He later expanded his horizons by relocating to Singapore in 2016 to join SCDA Architects, an internationally renowned design firm specializing in housing and hospitality. Christopher has been instrumental in the successful implementation of diverse mixed-use design and construction projects, placing a distinct emphasis on the realms of medical, healthcare, and commercial developments.

Rida is Vice President of Stem Construction and founder of Root Architects. He has over twenty five years of experience in the design and construction fields. Throughout his career, Rida has studied and traveled throughout the country, with an emphasis on historic preservation, sustainable design, and urban revitalization. As a Principal at Root, he is focused on bringing together culture, design, and history in an effort to usher El Paso into a new area of great community building. Rida has worked with nationally recognized design firms in Boston and San Antonio before moving home to El Paso and is actively involved in the city’s revitalization efforts.
